Recipes & Cooking Classes
-
Clients are responsible for safe food handling, hygiene, and awareness of allergies.
-
Outcomes may vary; AgeWell Dietetics makes no guarantees of results.
- AgeWell Dietetics cooking classes are designed for education and enjoyment. Sessions are led by an Accredited Practising Dietitian and focus on practical nutrition, food preparation skills, and healthy eating strategies.
- These classes are not professional chef training and do not award any cooking qualifications. All recipes and nutrition advice are provided for general educational purposes and may not replace personalised medical advice. Clients should always consult their healthcare provider for individual health or medical concerns.
- Allergies - Clients are responsible for informing AgeWell Dietetics of any food allergies or intolerances before the class. Those with anaphylaxis must carry their prescribed EpiPen or other medication and know how to use it. While we take care to provide safe suggestions, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
- Safety - By participating, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own safety during food preparation and cooking. AgeWell Dietetics is not liable for injuries, accidents, or adverse outcomes that may occur during the class. Clients are also responsible for ensuring their kitchen environment is safe and suitable for cooking.
- Equipment - Clients are responsible for ensuring their kitchen equipment and appliances are safe and in good working order. AgeWell Dietetics is not liable for any faults, damage, or injuries related to the use of client-owned equipment or utilities during the class.
- Clients are responsible for safe storage and handling of any food prepared during the class. AgeWell Dietetics is not liable for food consumed after the session.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the class may not be eligible for a refund. Where possible, we will offer rescheduling.
- Clients may be asked if they consent to photos/videos being taken for social media or educational use. Consent is always optional.
- Cooking classes are for general nutrition education and are not intended as medical advice or treatment.
- Please note: Cooking classes are educational sessions and are not eligible for Medicare or private health insurance rebates. Only dietitian consultations referred by a GP or covered under your private health fund may attract rebates.
